Feeding birds in winter

With the arrival of frosts this is a harder time for our garden birds.


20th December 2009 		If you are confused about what to feed them, refer to the RSPB website. It is worth remembering that milk is not good but fat definitely is. The grill pan has lots of fat after cooking sausages etc. Soak dry bread or stale biscuit/cake crumbs in the fat and put it out for the delight of the birds. Lots of other possibilities are also given on the RSPB website.
